32 Persons Arrested As Kaduna Government Reviews Curfew Hour in Kachia.

Following the renewed violence that crippled economic, social, and religious activities in Kaduna on Friday, authorities have reported the about 32 persons connected with the renewed clashes have been arrested by the Police and would be prosecuted according to the law.
Further report reveals that security agencies in a concerted effort foiled attempts by hoodlums to burn down worship centres yesterday at Kawo and Hayan Banking.
In a related development, the state security council met today, Saturday, presided over by Governor El-Rufai of Kaduna State to review security situations in the state following yesterday’s incidents. After the meeting, the council decided to relax the curfew in Kachia to last from 6am to 5 pm effective from Saturday, the 27th of October, 2018.
This, according to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Mr Samuel Aruwan, was due to the peaceful environment and return of normalcy in the area.
However, other areas where the curfew is imposed including Kaduna metropolis should continue to strictly observe the 24 hour curfew till further notice The statement concluded.
The government said it regrets the inconvenience the people are subjected to as a result of the curfew but explained that the measure has become very necessary to safeguard and protect life and property.
