Schools In Kaduna Record Low Turnout Amidst Fear Of Violence.

Following the relaxing and reviewing of the effective curfew in Kaduna, to last from 5 pm to 6 am, academic activities resumed in some schools within Kaduna Metropolis on Thursday, 25th October, 2018.
DCF Global Reporter correspondent who went round the city reported that only very few schools were open for teaching and learning activities.
According to the report, the schools that were open recorded very low turnout of students. Even some teachers were absent.
A teacher in one of the schools, Mr Bayo Asaolu told our correspondents that some individuals are still afraid to allow their children to move out.
He stated that there is hope for the situation to improve as from next Monday if the gradual normalcy is maintained and improved upon.
Yesterday, Wednesday, a worship centre belonging to Assemblies of God Church, at Nariya, Kabala West in Kaduna was reportedly burnt down.
An eye witness said the incident took place in the night.
There is fear that silent killings still go on at some places within the metropolis.
